Dear readers,

Im a student, belgian, in a month i will start my internship onboard my first ship for a year period.
After that i will have finished my 4year officer education.

My girlfriend is 22, from the philippines. She just finished her study, we met online for 5 months and currently im spending a 2 month vacation there.
Got to know her well, she had a rough past, like me.
And cause of that she wants to leave asap.
Her first and only relation was 5 years and very abusive, thus shes very scared to be alone.
So this 2 month vacation is amazing. But its also very scary knowing i have to leave her alone for a year before i can see her again.

I just wanted to share that here, so you guys can post your opinions on what you would do.
So if you have any ideas opinions or advice, feel free to share them.
Note tho, that i dont care about risks, eventho the short time, i know her well enough to be able to risk everything for her.

So heres something crazy im thinking about now.
Do you think its possible to take her with me?
Like what would the requirements be to live on my internship for a year.

I mean she can work a bit and she doesnt need payment, can be good for the ship.
Say my internship would be crazy enough to accept.
What laws and paperwork is there that she needs and can or cant apply for?

Anyone knows the minimal requirements?

Kind regards!

Dear Dutch sailor,

As you are still intern, so you cannot carry your partner along in the ship. Moreover she need to be your lawfully wedded wife, for you to be able to take her along onboard.

On the other account I would say that, do not be a sentimental and apply your brain. There are many who wish to enter europe from that part of the world, come whatsoever.

So, do not fall in honey-trap.

Rest if you believe that she is true, then as what we say in India that God is Love. But make sure that it's a 2-way love, then do whatever your heart says, but certainly you cannot take her along.

God Bless
